Why we use your information
We use your personal information for the purposes set out below, and for no unrelated purpose without telling you first.
- To run your account, process deposits and withdrawals, credit winnings, apply bonuses and keep a record of your play.
- To verify your age and identity. As the holder of a gaming licence, we must confirm that you are at least 18 and that you are who you say you are before you play and before we pay out.
- To prevent fraud, money laundering and abuse of the site, including checking for duplicate accounts, bonus abuse, collusion and payment fraud.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties, including record-keeping, reporting obligations and responding to lawful requests.
- To support safer gambling, by operating deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion, by checking registrations with the national self-exclusion scheme GamStop, and by contacting you if your play suggests you may be at risk.
- To provide customer support, answer your questions and look into any complaint you raise.
- To send you offers and updates about games and promotions, where you have opted in to receive them.
- To keep the site secure and working properly, including troubleshooting, testing and measuring how the site is used.
The legal bases we rely on under UK GDPR
Data protection law requires us to have a legal basis for each use of your information. In plain words, these are the bases we rely on.
| What we use your information for | Our legal basis, in plain words |
|---|---|
| Opening and running your account, taking payments and paying out winnings | We need it to provide the service you asked for under our terms and conditions. |
| Verifying your age and identity, and carrying out anti-money-laundering checks | We have legal and licensing duties we must meet. |
| Keeping transaction, play and complaint records for the required period | We have legal duties, and the records protect both of us if a dispute arises. |
| Detecting fraud, bonus abuse and security threats | We have a legitimate interest in protecting the site, our players and our business. |
| Safer gambling monitoring and interventions | We have legal and licensing duties, and a legitimate interest in protecting players from harm. |
| Marketing emails, texts and similar messages | You have given your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. |
Identity documents and information about your health or financial circumstances receive extra protection in law. Where we handle information of that kind, we do so only where we are permitted to, for example because it is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest such as preventing crime or protecting people at risk of harm.
You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time in your account settings, by using the unsubscribe option in any message, or by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages we have already sent, and it does not stop service messages about your account, payments or the terms.
How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for the period that gambling, anti-money-laundering, tax and other laws require us to retain it. Once that period ends, we delete the information or anonymise it so that it can no longer be linked to you.
- Account, transaction and verification records are kept for the full retention period set by law after your account closes.
- Records of safer gambling settings and self-exclusions are kept for at least the length of the exclusion and for as long as the rules require afterwards.
- Marketing preferences are kept so that we can show we had your consent, and so that an opt-out is respected.
- Device and usage data is kept for a shorter period, unless it forms part of a fraud or security record.
Your rights, cookies and how to contact us
Under UK data protection law you have the following rights over the information we hold about you.
- Access - to be told what information we hold about you and to receive a copy of it.
- Correction - to have inaccurate or incomplete details put right.
- Erasure - to ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Restriction - to ask us to pause our use of your information while a query about it is settled.
- Objection - to object to uses based on our legitimate interests, and to stop direct marketing at any time.
- Portability - to receive certain information in a portable format or have it sent to another provider.
- Withdrawal of consent - to withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
- Complaint - to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
How to make a request
Write to us at privacy@casinofoxybingo.co.uk, or contact us at support@casinofoxybingo.co.uk or through the live chat on the site. Please tell us which right you wish to use and give us enough detail to find your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that your information is not disclosed to anyone else. We answer within the time limit set by law and will tell you if we need longer because a request is complex.
We would always prefer to put things right ourselves, so please raise any concern with us first. You can still complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time.
Cookies

You can accept, decline or change your choices in the cookie settings on the site and in your browser, although some cookies are needed for the site to work. Full details are set out in our Cookie Policy.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site, our practices or the law. Where a change is significant we will tell you, and the date at the top of the page always shows the current version.
